When CPS called us in 2020 about a tiny 3 month old baby who needed a temporary home, we said yes without hesitation. He was born a micro preemie, just 1 lb. 13 oz., with a hole in his heart & on a “puff” of oxygen. They said he would be off of it within the next 30 days & all would be well. So on November 3, 2020 we drove 6 hours to pick him up, only to realize that his medical needs were far more than we were told. The caseworker called us after finding out & said we could leave & not say yes
