Michigan once had dozens of sundown towns where people of color were warned not to be out after dark. While the laws and signs are gone, many of the reputations still linger. This video looks at Howell, Grosse Pointe, Owosso, Wyandotte, and Dearborn — how history shaped these communities, why some people still feel uneasy today, and how at least one city completely transformed.
