Yesterday I returned to one of the backyards where I have been trapping. Last week we trapped two of the older kittens; but were unable to trap the mother and the other two kittens. So I returned today and set up both the drop trap and the one Tru Catch Trap. I almost got all three: one of the kittens went into the Tru Catch Trap and mama went under the drop trap. Look at how far River has come! River was a semi-feral kitten rescued with some netting badly embedded into his neck. He had gotten caught as a young kitten and being a kitten born to a feral mother, no one was able to help him get free. As he grew, it began to asphyxiate him. Fortunately, a home owner reached out to us for help and River was trapped. We took him right to the vet where he had surgery to remove the netting just in the nick of time. Putter is a very sweet and affectionate lap cat. She is just a kitten at about four months old. Putter is really ready to find her forever home. She is playful and cuddly and just loves being held and petted. She is a gentle girl and the last in her litter. Putter became very stressed at the adoption events making herself misunderstood by potential adopters. She was overlooked time and time again.
