After making remarkable progress, the Sacramento SPCA's Labrador puppy with swimmer syndrome, Duckie, is up for adoption. There's a lot of interest already, with dozens of applications sent in. He has been in a foster home with dogs and cats, but might be a bit much for senior dogs as he's a puppy, the SPCA reports.
