1996 - John requested that Oprah not show photos of John as a little boy but she did so anyway. I find it was really disrespectful to do as he rarely ever granted interviews but had said yes to be on her show. Sidenote: in this interview John said he’d remembered the desk, but later told a friend he didn’t.
