🇻🇦 At the Vatican on the Solemnity of All Saints, during the Jubilee of the World of Education, Pope Leo XIV proclaimed St John Henry Newman the 38th Doctor of the Church — one of the highest honours given to a saint. The Pope hailed Newman as a master of both faith and reason, a guide for educators, students and all who seek truth. He urged Catholic education to form people “who may shine like stars in their full dignity” and to make schools “gateways to a civilisation of dialogue and peace.”
