Production began in late June and ran through September. Director John Stockwell pushed for realism. Paul insisted on doing many dives himself. Jessica trained in free-diving at Stuart Cove’s Dive Bahamas. Crew recalled Paul’s calm presence. He often stayed on set after hours to help divers reset equipment.
