Feb 6, 2003 · Hanover, PA. My 73 (350 4bbl Quadrajet) is hard to start after it sits for more than a couple of days. It acts like there is no fuel in the carburetor and needs to crank for several (4+) tries before it starts. Once it starts, it will start instantly anytime afterwards until it sits again. The engine is stock except for an HEI distributor (GM).

Dec 27, 2004 · On my 80 the nose was bought new back in the 90's, and it was never painted, just mounted on car and sat around. The nose is really rough, almost like coarse sandpaper. What can I use on this to make it smooth and ready for paint? Thanks ahead of time.
