Oct 13, 2008 · Hugo Boss has two brands...Boss, Hugo Boss, and Hugo, Hugo Boss. Black (classic), Selection (more formal), Orange (leisure), and Green (golf & sportswear) are all under the Boss brand. Hugo (red label), is a trend/fashion-forward brand that does much better in Europe than in NA.

Aug 11, 2008 · Sounds like the jacket fabric is by Cerruti but the construction is by Hugo Boss. Boss has the "Hugo Boss" black label and the "Hugo" red label, among others. Hugo/Red tends to be more trendy - slimmer cuts, different fabrics, etc. You'll find that most on this forum don't show a lot of love to their tailored clothing...

Mar 7, 2009 · I like Hugo Boss clothes just fine for the styling. The quality is meh but not horrible. I'm only familiar with Black > Orange > Red orange is all t-shirt and jeans, not dress clothes. Red label is younger more fashion forward, like a cheap dior substitute. black is actual dress clothes.

Apr 30, 2007 · The only thing I've seen on the rack that fit me really well was a navy Hugo Boss Red Label for 800 (640 after 20% off). Now I've searched and found that SF's general consensus regarding HB is fairly negative, especially for the price.

Sep 20, 2006 · In terms of quality: in the opinion of many on this forum, Boss Black or Hugo is not the best quality for suits (often lesser quality fabric, glued). If you want to buy a Boss suit, try Boss Selection on sale (better fabric and at least half-canvassed). @hugoman: The suit and the label are not fake. Hirmer is a reputable German retailer.

Mar 23, 2008 · Irrespective of one's personal opinions on Hugo Boss suits, that is not a suit for interviews. Black suits are not suitable for officewear, and as such you should not wear them at an interview. A dark navy or charcoal is more appropriate. Good luck with the interviews! BS. This is one of the great SF myth's that everyone here buys into.

Jun 22, 2016 · Hugo (red label) and Boss (black label) suits have always been a perfect fit for me. Very minimal altering needed off the rack which has allowed me to buy plenty of suits on sale for $400-$550. While the suits fit great, I've noticed some treasure wear around the crotch on my grey suit (which is the suit I wear most). It is now a few years old.

Mar 19, 2011 · I have a few pieces by boss hugo boss black label (more conservatively cut that HUGO) Hugo is kind of a fashion foward line compaired to boss hugo boss black label. kind of like z by zegna, or t by alexander wang. but hugo boss clothing isn't tiered they all cost about the same that said quality isn't much better than good across the board.
