Dec 26, 2023 · Animal Crossing, 3D Zelda & 2D Mario are all off the table due to recent games (in AC's case, Splatoon 3), so that sort of just leaves 3D Mario, and Mario Kart. Mario Kart's only just got done with a major DLC campaign, whilst we haven't had anything 3D Mario since the small Bowser's Fury in 2021.

May 18, 2020 · I think it's either Galaxy 2 or 3D World. 3D World is the first Mario where you can turn in mid-air and the controls feel more fluid because of it, there's also the most focus on actual platforming in this game.

Dec 19, 2024 · A 3D Mario at launch would absolutely be bonkers, I agree with the sentiment that that would have a far bigger impact than Mario Kart 9. Mario Kart is a kind of second stage booster that you fire after the initial launch hype-wave slowly tapers off.

Sep 30, 2023 · Mario 3D World (and to a lesser extent 3D Land) is arguably one of the more polarizing 3D Mario entries in the series. Hell, the fact that there's debate among fans over whether or not 3D World is even part of the mainline 3D Mario games says it all right there. My opinion on the game falls somewhere in the middle, I'd say.
