Sep 30, 2023 · I hate the taste of raw habanero. Cooked, fermented, pickled or whatever is fine. Raw tastes like dirt and like the smell of an avocado pit would be the best way to describe it. Habaneros are definitely delicious though. Personally I think scotch bonnet is the best tasting pepper, but to each their own. Beautiful harvest.

Feb 11, 2019 · Does anyone have an index or list of the best tasting peppers? I know it's subjective but I have heard lemon drop and 7pot peppers are pretty good and ornamental peppers are usually not great. I have reapers and ghosts and they don't taste very good.

Apr 18, 2020 · Reapers taste gross to me. I have two chinense peppers I'm hoping break the mold, Coyote Zan White and Aji Jobito. C. pubescens - one of my favorites. HUGE variety in flavor here. The juiciest thick walled peppers with a completely different mouth feel and heat signature. The heat lingers but it's not as hot as the others.
