Vietnam’s trade ministry called the Trump administration’s so-called reciprocal tariff “unreasonable” as trade talks between Washington and Hanoi begin.

The threat of 46 percent levies, among the highest for any country, is rattling Vietnam’s factory managers and workers, as well as thousands of exporters.

The meeting is the strongest sign yet that the world's two biggest economies are ready to de-escalate their trade war.
