After racking up a number of award nominations and wins, the film Sing Sing is being rereleased in theaters. It also makes history as the first movie to simultaneously be available to nearly 1 million incarcerated people across the country.

The movie will be available to nearly a million incarcerated people in more than 1,000 correctional facilities in the U.S. when it’s re-released in theaters this week.

The film was rereleased Friday in cinemas and correctional facilities in California, New York, Texas and 43 other states.

Fear the Walking Dead and The Madness actor Colman Domingo has wow'd critics with his performance in the movie Sing Sing. The actor has been nominated for SAG, Critics Choice, Golden Globe, and BAFTA awards for his role in the film.
