An investigation is underway at Brandy Melville in Center City where police say shots were fired Tuesday afternoon.

Police say officers were called to the scene for a reported robbery. At some point, one gunshot was fired, but no one appeared to be hit by the bullet.

A security guard fired his gun at a man who allegedly tried to steal from a Center City clothing store Tuesday afternoon, police said. The incident happened just after 2 p.m. at the Brandy Melville store near 15th and Walnut streets.
