Helldivers 2 would need "Sony and Phil [Spencer] to duke out" in order to get an Xbox port of Arrowhead's shooter off the ground.

Arrowhead's Community Manager doesn't rule out Helldivers 2 coming to Xbox, though states it's up to Sony and Phil Spencer to "duke it out."

In a new statement, a Helldivers 2 community manager has said an Xbox release could come, but it will depend on Sony and Microsoft working something out.

Helldivers 2 players will soon be celebrating their first Liberty Day. In the meantime, one of the developers addressed comments about the „impossibility” of releasing the game on Xbox Series X/S.

"Who says it [Helldivers 2] couldn’t [come to Xbox]? It’s not up to us but to Sony and Phil to duke out, but hypothetically speaking, if both partners think it would benefit them from a financial/brand standpoint, it could. If Sony believes it won’t though, it won’t."
