The Los Angeles Chargers might be winning during the NFL’s head coach hiring cycle because they aren’t losing coaches (and Jim Harbaugh doesn’t have plans to make changes to his coaching staff). But they might just lose a key member of the front office.

The Los Angeles Chargers, by virtue of the Los Angeles Rams defeating the Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card round of the playoffs on Monday night, now know what spot they will be selecting from in the first round of April's draft. They will have the No. 22 overall selection.

The Los Angeles Chargers entered the year with rather low expectations. Many figured Jim Harbaugh would turn the team around, but the Chargers went from a five-win team to 11 wins in just one season,

The Chargers will hold the 22nd pick in the 2025 draft. Aside from that pick, the Chargers currently have seven other selections in the draft. Last season, the Chargers had the fifth pick in the first round and selected offensive tackle Joe Alt from Notre Dame.

The Los Angeles Chargers were flat-out dominated by the Houston Texans as their season came to an end during the Wildcard Round of the NFL playoffs. It certainly wasn't quarterback Justin Herbert's best game.
