New York added to the No. 2 offense in basketball with a 118-85 thumping of the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday night. The performance continued what has been an up-and-down start for the 12-8 Knicks, who have looked like the best team in the NBA at points and then a bunch of strangers at others.

Mikal Bridges scored 31 points, Karl-Anthony Towns had 14 points and 19 rebounds, and the New York Knicks beat the injury-depleted New Orleans Pelicans 118-85.

- Mikal Bridges struggled a bit offensively during the road trip, so it was big to see him lead the way for the Knicks as they returned home. The small forward used a scorching hot start to help him tied his career-high with 31 points on 12-of-19 shooting from the field and 7-of-12 from three-point land.
