The Patriots announced their schedule for the 2025 season on Wednesday, with the team opening the year on Sept. 7 against the Raiders.
The 2024 season was the first since 2000 that Bill Belichick wasn't the New England Patriots head coach and 2024 No. 3 pick Drake Maye was starting his NFL career. After a second consecutive 4-13 season and another dismissal at head coach, the Patriots will have a significantly different look and some increased hope for 2025 and beyond.
The Patriots turned to Dave Portnoy to help reveal their 2025 schedule on Wednesday. Using one of the Barstool Sports founder’s popular phrases, they captioned the video “Emergency Press Conference – 2025 Patriots Schedule” as Portnoy seemingly shot from the cuff for over five minutes as he broke down all 17 of the Pats’ games.
The Patriots will play New England also plays 15 of their 17 games in the Eastern time zone, with the other two in Central.
