The 16th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft is in his third NHL season and has become a huge piece of Montreal’s back end.

The Montreal Canadiens may be without one of their top defensemen after Kaiden Guhle suffered an undisclosed lower-body injury in Tuesday’s 4–1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets.

The Montreal Canadiens announced that defenseman Kaiden Guhle sustained a lower-body injury during Tuesday’s 4-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets. Guhle sustained the injury early in the third period of the game after taking an awkward spill into the boards when making a pinch in the offensive zone,

Kyle Connor scored twice and Connor Hellebuyck made 24 saves as the Winnipeg Jets won their fourth in a row, 4-1 over the Montreal Canadiens.

Montreal always seems to give Winnipeg a tough test, especially in their own building. The Jets lost 4-3 in a shootout during last year’s annual visit (Laurent Brossoit was in net), and fell 4-1 the previous season (with Hellebuyck between the pipes).
