Investigators are closer to finding out who killed 6-year-old JonBenét Ramsey nearly two decades after the child was found dead, sources told ABC News. ABC News reported that unidentified sources briefed on the investigation said a team of experts has been assigned to look at remaining evidence in the case and to “apply the most modern scientific and cold case techniques to try to solve the crime.

The JonBenét Ramsey murder case is moving again, sources close to the investigation have said. The six-year-old’s body was found in the family basement with a ransom note on the morning of Dec. 26, 1996.
