Nearly 70 skilled workers from around the country are preparing for careers on the Coast. A partnership between Ingalls Shipbuilding and the Job Corps is connecting people trained and ready for work to find jobs at the shipyard.

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Job Corps program and Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII), America’s largest military shipbuilder, expanded their partnership to provide direct career opportunities for Job Corps students.

As the nation’s largest military shipbuilder, and with a more than 135-year history of advancing U.S. national security, HII delivers critical capabilities extending from ships to unmanned systems, cyber, ISR, AI/ML and synthetic training.
