This Morning boss, Martin Frizell, is stepping down from the hit ITV show after ten years and is said to be leaving in Spring 2025

Martin has seen the show some difficult periods in recent years, most notably Phillip Schofield's abrupt exit.

Following the shock news, presenter Hammond has said she is "devastated" in an interview on Chris Evans' Virgin Radio show. "I’ve worked with Martin for 10 years. I’ll be honest with you I’m absolutely devastated. He’s been a real rock for the show. But it's totally understandable why he's leaving," she said.

This Morning editor Martin Frizell is stepping down from the role after 10 years. Frizell, who is married to presenter Fiona Phillips, joined ITV as the editor of Loose Women in 2014 before taking over at This Morning. The 65-year-old will leave ITV in spring 2025, the network revealed on Wednesday.
