A 55-year-old man was indicted Tuesday after creating and placing at least seven improvised explosive devices in different areas of New York City, including subway track on the Williamsburg Bridge and on a Manhattan rooftop,

Michael Gann, 55, of Inwood, New York, was charged with manufacturing at least seven improvised explosive devices, prosecutors said on July 22.

Authorities on Tuesday announced charges against a Long Island man for manufacturing and possessing at least seven improvised explosive devices using chemicals he bought online, including one IED that he allegedly left on the Williamsburg Bridge.
