A video that shows Australian teenagers Holly Bowles and Bianca Jones partying in Laos shortly before they died has been uncovered.

Family members, co-workers and the Beaumaris Football Club are mourning the Melbourne teen, who died in Thailand one day after her best friend, Bianca Jones.

Laos police have detained eight staff and managers of the hostel where Australians Bianca Jones and Holly Bowles were staying when they fell ill. A third Australian is also recovering from suspected poisoning.

Following the news of her tragic passing, the owner of Frank’s, a Melbourne café where Bowles had worked for more than two years while saving up for her adventure of a lifetime with Jones, paid tribute to the young woman they had “taken under their wing”.
