High School Hockey Player, 16, Dies Days After Being Shot with 'Stray Bullet' While in Car with His Dad
On Wednesday, Nov. 27, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that Colin Brown — who was a student at Christian Brothers College (CBC) High School — had died that day following the "tragic shooting" on the I-55 near Loughborough on Saturday, Nov. 23.

Colin Brown, a 16-year-old hockey player, was struck by a stray bullet on Interstate 55 in South St. Louis while driving home with his father from his hockey game on Saturday. He succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday. The Blues left a hockey stick outside their locker room in memory of the youth star.
