Animal shelters across the state and across the country are hoping to find loving homes for furry friends in time for the holidays. The BISSELL Pet Foundation is supporting their efforts with its "Empty the Shelters - Holiday Hope" reduced-fee adoption event.

From now until Dec. 17, all animals at the Lafayette Animal Shelter are eligible for adoption (dogs and cats) for a $0 fee.

Animal shelters across Arizona are offering pet adoption specials in December as part of the national Empty the Shelters -- Holiday Hope event.

According to the Daviess County Fiscal Court, the BISSELL Pet Foundation will sponsor adoption fees for adult dogs and cats from December 2 through 14 during the Holiday Hope Event with Daviess County Animal Care and Control.
