Eli Lilly will significantly increase the price of its weight-loss drug Mounjaro in the United Kingdom in a bid to bring down prices in the United States after weeks of pressure from the Trump administration.

Mounjaro, one of the UK’s most popular weight-loss jabs, is set to become more expensive for private patients after Eli Lilly announced a major price hike.

Eli Lilly said the increase brings the UK price in line with other European markets, though NHS availability will be unaffected.
