On Friday, USC football earned another Big Ten victory, taking down Northwestern 38-17. Following the week’s college football action, the Trojans moved up three spots to No. 18 in the latest USA Today US LBM Coaches Poll.

USC (7-2), which climbed to No. 18 in the coaches’ poll, is the only ranked team with a loss to Notre Dame. Miami (7-2), which beat Notre Dame 27-24 in the season opener at Hard Rock Stadium, whipped Syracuse and moved up two spots to No. 16, per the coaches.
Another week of the college football season means we've got another release of the US LBM Coaches Poll. Some exciting games resulted in a change in the poll. Indiana survived against Penn State. Oregon toughed one out at Iowa, while Texas Tech knocked BYU from the unbeatens.
Utah climbed two spots to No. 15 in the AP rankings with 695 points. The Utes are also No. 15 in the Coaches rankings with 635 points, jumping four spots this week. The Utes travel to face Baylor this Saturday (5 p.m. MST, ESPN2).

Where Michigan ranks in latest US LBM Coaches Poll entering final stretch before OSU
Even so, the coaches across college football made their voices heard in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll. And entering Week 12, Michigan football moved from No. 20 to be ranked 17th. Ohio State is No. 1 and previous opponents -- Oklahoma and USC -- are ranked 10th and 18th, respectively.
