TUSCALOOSA, Ala.— In spite of the adversity faced over the last few days, and at points throughout Kalen DeBoer's first season at the helm, the No. 13 Alabama football team secured a winning record in SEC games and an undefeated home record with a 28-14 win over Auburn in the Iron Bowl.

Saturday afternoon brought about the official conclusion of the 2024 regular season for the Alabama Crimson Tide, as the program collided with the rival Auburn Tigers in Tuscaloosa for the latest edition of the Iron Bowl.

It wasn't the prettiest of victories, but the Alabama Crimson Tide won their fifth straight Iron Bowl on Saturday. But after a disappointing loss against Oklahoma, Alabama fell out of the 12 team playoff and was no longer in control of their own destiny.
