The Chiefs are the first team in NFL history to play in five Super Bowls over a six-year span. Kansas City joined the 1971-73 Dolphins, 1991-93 Buffalo Bills and the 2016-18 New England Patriots to play in at least three consecutive Super Bowls, CBS Sports reported.

Phillips was hit with a lower fine of $6,722 for his "unnecessary roughness (use of the helmet)." He was the only Bills player penalized by the officials for the second-quarter incident. Bills linebacker Matt Milano received a $11,255 fine for a separate "unnecessary roughness (facemask)" late in the fourth quarter.
