The Raiders coaching staff is filling up. There are still a lot of positions that have either not been filled or not reported yet. And, of course, there are some coaches who are still under contract,

Two more important positions coaches join the Raiders OC Chip Kelly’s staff in RB coach Deland McCullough and WR coach Chris Beatty.

The Raiders are hiring veteran coach Joe Woods to serve as defensive pass-game coordinator on Pete Carroll’s staff, per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. Woods has 33 years of coaching experience – 11 in college and 22 in the NFL – including stints as defensive coordinator for the Broncos (2017-2018) and the Browns (2020-2022).

A number of potential candidates for the coordinator roles with the Raiders have ties to Carroll from his 14 years with the Seahawks.
