Taking an NFL job is "not an option" this offseason for new North Carolina football coach Bill Belichick, Tar Heels general manager Michael Lombardi said Thursday in attempting to quash rumors.

North Carolina quarterback Jacolby Criswell just added another massive item to Bill Belichick's to-do list in Chapel Hill. The senior quarterback announced he was entering the transfer portal on Wednesday,

"Sources tell CBS Sports — and UNC confirmed this week — that there is no fully-executed and signed contract between Belichick and UNC. And industry sources say that could lead to a legal gray area about how much, if any, of a buyout there would be if Belichick left for the pros.
