Nobel economics prize awarded to three who studied wealth of nations
The Nobel economics prize was awarded to Daron Acemoglu, Simon Johnson and James Robinson, who provided new insights into why there are such vast differences in prosperity between nations. Acemoglu and Johnson are both at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology while Robinson is at the University of Chicago.
