Switch it up: Nintendo announces successor to popular Switch console
Nintendo is switching it up. The video gaming giant announced its newest console on Thursday, the “Switch 2.” While Nintendo has released variations of its original console such as the Nintendo Switch Lite and Nintendo Switch OLED, it is the first console Nintendo has released since the Switch hit the shelves on March 3, 2017.
How much will the Nintendo Switch 2 cost?
Considering the basic Nintendo Switch costs $299, the Nintendo Switch Lite costs $199, and the Nintendo Switch OLED costs $399, a price point of around $400 for the Nintendo Switch 2 seems pretty on point with the current scale. This is also the price many fans predicted it might cost and the price most are willing to pay.
