The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States expressed its concern over the developments of the security situation in the Sahel region of Syria and the clashes that took place there. In a statement,

The Arab League summit in Cairo concluded on Tuesday with a unified stance on Gaza’s reconstruction, endorsing Egypt’s $53 billion plan to rebuild the enclave, while rejecting any proposals that involve Palestinian displacement.

Arab states adopted an Egyptian plan calling for a “technocratic committee” to administer the Gaza Strip under the umbrella of the Palestinian Authority as part of a broader two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
