Saber Interactive has announced the upcoming features in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 Patch 5.0, set for release in the first half of December. The patch will introduce native PS5 Pro support, the Dark Angels Chapter Pack, and Operation: Obelisk, along with other key updates.

The Dark Angels Chapter Pack includes the heraldry items of the Second Foundings and Successor Chapters of the Dark Angels: the Angels of Absolution, the Angels of Redemption, the Angels of Vengeance, the Unnamed, the Blades of Vengeance, the Cowled Wardens, the Bringers of Judgement and the Angels of Defiance.

Digital Foundry’s analysis revealed that the Series X consistently outperforms the PS5 by 10-15 frames per second in intensive gameplay moments. For instance, scenes involving hordes of enemies see the PS5 dropping to the mid-30s in frames per second, while the Series X holds steady in the mid-40s.
