For years, the familiar sound of Salvation Army Red Kettle bells had been missing from Batesville’s busiest spots. This holiday season, however, that changed thanks to Stan and Mandy Froberg, a couple with a passion for giving back.

A staple of the holiday season along with decorations, music and shopping is the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign. The organization has a new way of collecting donations as many people no longer have change in their pockets.
