German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier is to travel to Paris at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron for the official reopening of Notre-Dame cathedral, his office announced in Berlin on Monday.

In a social media post, the USCCB wrote that as the cathedral reopens its doors, “local churches in the U.S. are invited to peal their bells in a gesture of unity.”
