A massive fire broke out at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj due to cylinder blasts. Fire tenders are on site to extinguish the blaze.

An incident of fire at the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela festival was reported in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath informed Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the relief and rescue operations.

Local officials of the administration along with police and fire department officials have started efforts to control the fire.
