Kangaroo escapes after close bear encounter — and is on the run, Florida sheriff says
A kangaroo is on the run in Florida after surviving a close bear encounter, officials said. Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood took to social media to share a photo of a kangaroo hopping along the side of a road in Pierson, about a 55-mile drive north of Orlando.
