Nile Rodgers has revealed he will perform at Glastonbury 2025 immediately following Sir Rod Stewart. The Chic star and mastermind behind some of the most legendary pop albums shared the news with press at the Rolling Stone UK Awards at London’s Camden Roundhouse, where he was honoured with the Global Icon award.

Disco legend Nile Rodgers has accidentally let it slip that he will be performing Glastonbury 2025 in the slot immediately after Rod Stewart. The American singer-songwriter and co-founder of Chic, 72, confirmed the news to press at the Rolling Stone UK Awards on Thursday (November 28), where he was honored with the Global Icon award.

Rod Stewart will play the coveted “Legend” slot at the 2025 Glastonbury festival, joining an impressive roster of previous “legends” – from Paul McCartney and The Rolling Stones to James Brown and David Bowie – who performed at “tea time” on Sunday at the famed British music fest.
