Federal officials on Saturday canceled hundreds more flights at airports across the United States as the federal government shutdown entered its record-long 39th day on Saturday.
As of Saturday evening, FlightAware is showing 29 cancellations on Monday at MSP airport, 15 departures and 14 arrivals. That's fairly consistent with the number of cancellations seen since the FAA restrictions were implemented on Friday, though the number will likely grow as Sunday passes.
As of 1:30 p.m. Monday, the number of delayed flights at the airport stood at 56 -- 36 of which were through Southwest Airlines, according to the FlightAware flight tracking site.
