Christina Applegate dismissed early multiple sclerosis (MS) symptoms while filming Netflix's Dead To Me. The actor starred as Jen Harding in the Emmy-nominated dark comedy, which premiered in 2019 and ran for three seasons.

Dead to Me star Christina Applegate shared five ‘weird’ symptoms she ignored before realising she had MS as she thought one was something else.

The star said that she fell while running across a field during a scene for the dark comedy and now realizes it was an early sign of her autoimmune condition. “I remember falling that day,” recalled Applegate. “Hi, first sign of MS!” Feldman also remembered the incident.

And since revealing her diagnosis, Applegate has been open in speaking out about some of the 'weird' symptoms she experienced - not realizing at the time they were a sign of MS. In an ABC News interview, Applegate told Robin Roberts that there was one particular symptom which began 'in the early part of 2021'.
