The Chicago quarterback looked much improved, nearly stealing a win from Minnesota. This and more in this week’s NFL plays worth watching again.

Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams has hit his stride under new offensive coordinator Thomas Brown over the past two games, including against a dominant Minnesota Vikings defense last Sunday. Williams actually set an NFL record for most consecutive pass attempts without throwing a touchdown or interception.

The team was sloppy in committing seven penalties for 80 yards, including multiple flags on Jaylon Johnson as he battled stud Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson for much of the day. The rest of the defense was even worse, giving up big plays on the ground to Aaron Jones and a career day through the air to Jordan Addison.
