The ninth-ranked Texas Tech football team will try to score another major win in its pursuit of the College Football Playoff today in Jones AT&T Stadium against eighth-ranked BYU.

Mississippi State football (5-4, 1-4 SEC) is taking on No. 5 Georgia (7-1, 5-1) at Davis Wade Stadium on Nov. 8 (11 a.m., ESPN).

It comes four days after their 96-64 season-opening win over Campbell that ended with a 29-2 run that removed any doubt.
