Japanese pitching sensation Roki Sasaki said on Friday he has agreed to join Major League Baseball's reigning World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Milwaukee Brewers announced the signing of right-handed pitcher Elvin Rodriguez, who spent all of last season pitching in Japan with the Yakult Swallows, to a big-league contract Friday. Rodriguez signed a one-year deal with a club option for 2026 with Milwaukee.
Elvin Rodríguez appeared in one game with the Tampa Bay Rays in 2023 and pitched seven games with the Detroit Tigers in 2022.
