Jose "Joe" Ceballos, 54, a two-time city council member, was reelected as mayor this week by the residents of Coldwater, Kansas, population 687.

While most of the races were nonpartisan, Tuesday’s results illustrated a positive sign for Kansas Democrats ahead of the 2026 election.
