A winter storm will bring snow to the Philadelphia region tonight, followed by a blast of dangerous cold lasting through early next week, according to the National Weather Service.
A fast-moving winter storm is expected to blanket much of central and southern New Jersey in snow overnight, with totals reaching up to five inches by Sunday morning. Forecasters warn that snowfall could be heavy at times before midnight as temperatures drop into the mid-20s.
