New Texas A&M basketball head coach Bucky McMillan and his inaugural roster will face one of the tougher SEC schedules, starting in January.

With football being the main focus as fall approaches, Texas A&M basketball has announced its 2025-26 SEC schedule .

Texas returns Dec. 3 to Moody Center to face Virginia in the ACC/SEC Challenge. It’s the only home nonconference game against a fellow Power Five conference. The Longhorns then host Southern Dec. 8 and close out their nonconference schedule with a pair of home games Dec. 16 and Dec. 22 against Le Moyne and Maryland Eastern Shore.
