X Corporation has filed an objection in a federal Bankruptcy Court to the transferring of InfoWars X accounts to The Onion, citing its own TOS.

Conspiracy theorist and right-wing media personality Alex Jones sued on Monday to challenge the sale of his Infowars platform to the parent company satirical news outlet The Onion and the families of victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook mass school shooting.

A federal bankruptcy judge in Texas has ordered a hearing into how the satirical news publication The Onion won the bidding for conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’ Infowars, after Jones and his lawyers raised questions about how a bankruptcy auction was conducted.

Attorneys for Jones said the satirical website made an illegitimate bid for Infowars and plans to misuse its intellectual property.
